The chunkier, the better - boots to tackle this fall and winter

Before the pandemic hit us, I was beginning my journey to a more manageable and more functional wardrobe. What started this process was that I realized that I have too much stuff and I spend too much on clothes that I don’t even wear.

I made a plan and one of the first and most crucial steps of this process was to stop buying. I was comittedly doing really well til the pandemic came and messed me up. I know. It’s easy to blame someone else… But I really came out of balance and I hit the online shops when I felt insecure. This resulted in bouts of crazy shopping sprees and no-buy periodes

This pair of chunky boots are the result of one such bout and I really thought that I cannot leave without them. And I was was right! Jokes aside, Luckily they turned out to be a purchase that was not wasted and get to use them a lot. They are chunky, they are comfortable and I think they fit my actual lifestyle and style. I reach for them quite a lot and I can make plenty of outfits with them.

I always loved chunkier and heavier footwear, I love how they keep my frame in proportion and I feel that they ground me somehow :-) As opposite for example my arch enemies, the kitten heels, which I would never wear.

I want to show you some of the outfits I made recently with these cool boots.
