Out of the blue

It's easy to forget what's sitting in our wardrobes – and there can be great pieces hidden away that haven't seen the light of day for years or in my case, forever.

In my journey to a more manageable and functional wardrobe, I began organising and decluttering my stuff and I found some forgotten gems in the back of my closet.

This navy midi pleated skirt is one of the pieces which came home from the shop with me and has never been worn. Today is the day that it will come out and play!

Actually, it is perfect for the holiday season and I have a lot of blue pieces to pair it with. Yes, navy is my second dearest when it comes to my wardrobe. After black, of course.

Pleated skirts are one of the prime fashion trends right now but I am going to style it my own way. Which means dressing it down with either a puffer jacket or a pair of leather platform boots.
