Silver lining

Although I couldn’t say that I am mad about colourful outfits and eye-catching details, I really like some metallic accessoires, for example my metallic silver trainers. I just think they look cool and fun, and a little different than I usually wear.

I am not afraid that the metallic colour is crashing with other colours in my outfits since the majority of my wardrobe is black (or other neutrals). So the easiest way to style them is to pair them with my blacks – they can even give a fun, flashy finish to an all black outfit.

The cool thing about silver shoes is that they look great casual or dressed up. I like the idea of pairing them with cropped trousers so that you can really show them off. 

Adding another metallic piece makes for a statement. I tried to team these trainers with a silver belt or a metallic kimono.
