First Day of Spring

Of course I am longing for spring! And longing for lighter clothes. At the first signs of spring I ditch my winter coat and I throw on my gilets. These gilets are thick enough to keep me warm but -being sleveless- they give me the feeling of freedom and movement. Spring - with one word.

I want to show you four outfits with four different gilets which make part of my transitional arsenal. These are perfect for layering over jumpers and jeans for the ultimate off-duty look.

Here I went for a tougher look. I teamed the faux shearling gilet with boots and a big, bulky leather bag. I can also reverse the gilet and expose the shearling lining.

This moto-inspired faux shearling gilet has an asymmetric zipper through the front. It's cut for a loose fit, making it perfect for layering over the thickest jumpers but also over a feminine dress.

This beautiful grey wool gilet is ideal for layering over an all-black ensemble. Keeping me warm and looking a bit elevated and stylish.

This is the thinnest but the most elegant gilet of the four. I like to layer it under a coat as well.
