Wardrobe drama

I am not ready to Marie-Kondo my closet just yet. But I have done the first and most important step: I realised that I have a closet full of clothes that I just don’t wear. And a shopping addiction.

Closet full, hubby’s closet full (with my shit), unworn pieces everywhere. It’s overwhelming. I dream about a closet with pieces that I love and wear. A closet which is organised and functional.

I decided to do something about it. I came up with a three-step plan.

Step one: Stop buying.

Step two: Reinvent my closet. Find the pieces that I love and I can wear in multiple ways. Be creative with styling them.

Step three: Declutter. That’s going to be a tough one!!

Today’s pictures are meant to show you my attempt to take one piece from my closet and style it in different ways. It’s a pair of beige flare chino trousers and I paired it with blazers, a long vest and a trench coat. It’s an easy piece to style, comfortable and fits my lifestyle and aesthetic. It’s a keeper! (But I say that about all of them )
