Borrow from the boys!

I am not a girly girl, I am not attracted to florals, lace or soft colours. You do not see me in  strappy heels or pumps. What I love about style is that even if I am into more masculine fashion and I love to wear masculine pieces - I can still be feminine! Because I feel feminine and because that's me.

It is ok to play and mess around, the key is to find the balance in mixing the masculine and feminine elements.

For a minimalist or masculine-inspired look, I use the classics of the boys wardrobe, nothing too colourful, mostly teaming blacks with greys. And of course, checks.

The oversized, mannish overcoat has an androgynous edge. The longer the better! I love these checkered trousers from Mango, the masculine checks  are conservative but edgy and efortlessly chic. To soften the mannish silhouette, I styled the trousers  with a fitted blouse, pointed boots and a chic handbag.
