Late summer day
This summer, I was very good at wearing colours and staying away from my beloved all black outfits. I even began to feel a bit classy and feminine in lighter colours and pastels. This outfit was one of those and it was just right for the (possibly) last summer weekend. It was a beautiful day, perfect for strolling along the dock and absorbing the sunshine.
It's that time of the year when the weather is still nice, but you just feel that autumn is coming…. Those smaller and bigger signs: even though the sun is shining, you can feel it’s weaker, the days are shorter, all the stores you shop at are already selling sweaters, jackets and boots, and the worst of all - that school has begun. Living in Norway and working at a school, summers always mean warmth and freedom to me. The end of summer equals the end of the long and stressless summer holiday. I am not sure I am ready for this autumn so I decided that I will transition slowly this year. Savour every little sunshine and every sunny moment!
Yeah, yeah I know autumn means fashion and new trends and layering and cozy knits and all these amazing things - but I am just not ready yet! But I just got an idea what could get me in the autumn spirit - shopping for autumn! :-)
