Back to basics - with a twist
I want to show you one of my favourite outfits at the moment. This outfit ticks all the boxes when it comes to my style preferences:
I feel chic and stylish in it even though it is just basics. I wear a lot of basics, I love to mix and match them, they are trusty pieces in my wardrobe.
It is all-black or almost all-black with a pop of colour.
The oversized black blazer is as masculine as it can get (it is actially from the Men’s section of H&M)
It is a mix of dressy and casual
All basics but it has one or a few interesting elements - to give just a little bit of edge to the outfit (velvet, snake-skin boots, leather, showing the ankles)
It is a chic mix of textures: velvet blazer, leather trousers and snake-skin boots.
It is also very versatile, I can change the top/jumper, the trousers or the boots - and get a new outfit. What’s not to love??
